Syro is an astrology app made by PlanetAxiom, Inc (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information Syro collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to the Syro mobile app and to www.planetaxiom.com.

Information we collect

Account information — your name (or chosen display name) and email address, used to create and secure your account.
Birth details — the birth date, birth time, and birth place you enter for yourself, and any birth details you enter for other people (for example, to check compatibility). Birth place is a location you type in; Syro does not access your device’s GPS location.
Social connections — if you use social features, the friends you add or connect with in the app.
Usage and device information — basic technical data such as device type, app version, and diagnostic logs, used to keep the app working reliably.

How your information is used

Your birth details are sent to and processed on our servers to:

calculate your natal chart and related astrological readings;
track current planetary transits relevant to your chart; and
power social features, such as connecting with friends and viewing compatibility readings.

We use your information only to provide and improve Syro. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show third-party advertising in the app.

Where your information is stored

Your information is stored on our cloud servers so that your charts and connections are available across sessions and devices. All information is encrypted in transit between the app and our servers using HTTPS/TLS.

Service providers

We use a small number of service providers to run Syro — such as cloud hosting and text-generation services that help phrase the readings shown in the app. These providers process information only on our behalf and under our instructions; they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data — including your birth details and connections — at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will complete deletion requests within 30 days.

Age requirement

Syro is not directed at children. Our Terms of Service require users to be 16 or older to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe someone under 16 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

A note on astrology content

Syro’s readings are provided for reflection and entertainment. They are not medical, legal, financial, or professional advice, and no prediction or reading is a statement of fact about future events.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and note the new effective date above.
